This combination will allow you to drop the front of your Camaro to 4.2 inches below factory ride height, and will allow you to swallow a 22-inch wheel with ease. The engineers didn’t stop there! This strut also has an integrated adjustable camber plate made from T6061 aluminum, utilizing a high-quality spherical bearing for the best in suspension adjustability.
The rear kit mimics the front, with the same double-bellow-style bag wrapped around another 30-way damping, adjustable, monotube shock. A high-quality monoball bearing is nestled in a beautiful, red, anodized upper-shock mount. So what does it take to have such a versatile suspension? It all starts with having a strong foundation. In this case, the struts: Air Lift uses 30-way adjustable, monotube struts—with a serious range of damping adjustment—that have been specially tuned to match the air springs. Monotube construction is the preferred choice in racing, and it’s the preferred choice for us; its sensitivity to small inputs, as well as the great ability to shed heat when pushed to the limit, make it top-notch in our book. The 30 clicks of adjustment aren’t just for fun, but they allow you, the user, to dial in your preferred handling feel or desired ride quality. The range goes from super-stiff to very soft, adjusting rebound and compression together, but with proportionally more rebound. The struts weigh considerably less than the coil spring parts you remove, reducing unsprung weight—a benefit to both ride and handling.
Installation is simple with Air Lift Performance’s detailed instruction manuals and only basic hand tools are required to complete the job.
